Error When Linking a New WhatsApp Account Number to eGrow: "(#100) Invalid Parameter"

When attempting to enable a new WhatsApp phone number that you have already linkedto eGrow via WhatsApp integration, you may encounter the following error:

“(#100) invalid parameter”

✅ Why This Error Happens

This error usually occurs because the WhatsApp account is still under review or suspended.

  • In Meta Business Manager, your WhatsApp Account Manager may show the status: Review in Progress.

  • While the review is ongoing, no new numbers can be linked to the account.

  • You can't enable the number in eGrow until the review is completed.


🔄 What You Should Do

  1. Check your WhatsApp account Status

    • Go to your Meta Business Manager → Business Settings → WhatsApp Accounts.

    • Confirm if the status is Review in Progress.

  2. Wait for the Review to Complete

    • Reviews are conducted by Meta to verify your business details and compliance.

    • This process may take anywhere from a few hours to several business days.

  3. Retry enable the Integration

    • Once the status changes to Approved, go back to eGrow and re-enable your number and enter your 6 digits pin.

    • At this stage, the integration should complete successfully.


📌 Important Notes

  • You cannot bypass the review process — the system blocks all new number linking attempts until approval is granted.

  • If your review takes unusually long (more than 7 business days), contact Meta Support to check the status.

  • Make sure all your business information in Meta is accurate and up-to-date to avoid delays.


👉 Summary: The error “(#100) invalid parameter” appears because your WABA is still under Meta’s review. Wait until the review is complete, and then proceed with linking your number in eGrow.
