Send Delivery Man Contact Details Automatically After Shipping an Order

Keeping your customers informed about their delivery builds trust and reduces support questions. With eGrow, you can automatically notify your customers with the delivery man’s details as soon as an order is shipped.

Follow these steps to set it up:

Step 1: Create Delivery Man Stages

1. Log in to your eGrow Dashboard.

2. Go to the Orders section.

   

3. Create two new stages: Delivery Man and Delivery Man Fail.
   (Click here if you need help creating new stages.)

   

Step 2: Set Up WhatsApp Templates

1. Go to Integrations → WhatsApp → View Integration.

2. Select your WhatsApp number and click Templates from the Action column.

   

3. Click New Template.

   

4. Create two templates under the Utility category:

   • One with delivery man information.

   • One without delivery man information.
     (See examples of templates here.)

     

5. Save your templates and wait for approval before proceeding.

Step 3: Add Automation Rules

1. Go to Automations → New Automation.

2. Set the Trigger: Order > Order Updated.

3. Add instant conditions:

   • Order stage > Changed to > Delivery Man

   • Order stage > Changed to > Delivery Man Fail

4. Under each condition, add:

   • Delivery Man > is > Not Empty

5. Add Send WhatsApp Message actions and select the corresponding template for each stage.

   

   Step 4: Match Stages with Delivery Company Status (Ameex Example)

   1. Navigate to Integrations → Ameex → View Integration.

      

   2. Click the Webhook button located in the top right.

      

   3. Match the pipeline stages (Delivery Man and Delivery Man Fail) on the right with the corresponding Ameex statuses on the left.

      

   4. Click Save and close.

📌 Notes

• Ensure your delivery provider or system shares the delivery man’s name and phone number with eGrow.

• You can customize templates to include delivery time, tracking links, or branding.

• The same process can be applied for other delivery updates, such as Out for Delivery or Delivered.
