How to Assign an AI Agent to a Specific WhatsApp Number Using Automation

With eGrow Automations, you can assign a specific AI Agent to reply only to messages received on a selected WhatsApp number. This is useful if you manage multiple WhatsApp integrations and want each number to be handled by a different AI Agent.

Steps to Set It Up

  1. Create a New Automation
    Go to Automations → New Automation.

  2. Set the Trigger
    Choose:
    Message → New message received
    This ensures the automation runs whenever a new WhatsApp message arrives.

  3. Add a Condition (Select the WhatsApp Number)
    Add a condition:
    WhatsApp → Integration is → Select the WhatsApp number
    Choose the specific number where you want this AI Agent to reply.

  4. Add the Action (Assign the AI Agent)
    Select:
    AI Agent → WhatsApp AI Agent
    Click Next, then choose the AI Agent you want to assign.

  5. Save the Automation
    Save and activate the automation.

Result
From now on, any new message received on the selected WhatsApp number will be automatically handled by the chosen AI Agent. You can repeat these steps to assign different AI Agents to other WhatsApp numbers.
