The Action Restricting feature in eGrow gives you more control over your team’s access by limiting what specific teams can do within certain Order Stages. It helps you prevent accidental changes — like deleting or moving orders — and keeps your workflow organized and secure.
What Is Action Restricting?
Action Restricting allows you to restrict specific teams in your account from performing certain actions in selected stages.
You can control whether a team can:
Create new orders
Move orders between stages
Show (view) orders
Delete orders
For example, you might allow your Confirmation Team to create and move orders in the Pending stage, but restrict them from deleting or modifying orders in the Delivered stage.
How to Access Action Restricting
Follow these steps to configure it:
Go to the Orders section.
Switch to the Pipeline Stages view.
Find the stage you want to manage (e.g., Processed, Delivered, etc.).
Click on the three dots (⋮) at the top right of that stage’s header.
Choose Action Restricting from the dropdown menu.
Step-by-Step: Configure Restrictions
In the Action Restricting window, select the Action you want to control (Create, Move, Show, or Delete).
You’ll see a list of all your Teams/Roles.
Unselect the teams you want to restrict from performing that action in this stage.
Click Submit to apply the restriction.
Example
Let’s say you want to stop your Follow-up Team from moving orders in the Delivered stage:
Action: Move
Stage: Delivered
Unselect: Follow-up Team
Now, this team will not be able to move any orders in the Delivered stage, while other teams will continue to have access.
Why Use Action Restricting
🛡️ Prevent mistakes — avoid unwanted edits or deletions.
🎯 Keep roles clear — define exactly what each team can and can’t do.
🔒 Enhance control — maintain a clean, secure order pipeline.
✅ Done!
Your restrictions are now active. From this point on, the selected teams will only be able to perform allowed actions in the specified stage — keeping your workflow structured and safe.
