eGrow allows you to automate WhatsApp messages based on important order events — including when an order stage changes.
This feature helps you keep customers informed automatically every time their order moves to a new stage, such as Processed, Shipped, or Delivered.
This guide shows you how to set up an automation that sends a WhatsApp message after an order stage is updated.
🧭 Step-by-Step Guide
1. Go to Automations Builder
From your eGrow dashboard, go to:
Automations → New Automation
This is where you can create a new workflow that reacts to order changes automatically.
2. Set the Trigger
In the Trigger section, select:
Order → Order updated
This ensures the automation is triggered every time an order’s stage is changed in your eGrow account (for example, from Processing to Shipped).
3. Add a Condition
To send the message only when a specific stage is reached, add a condition like:
Order Stage → Has Changed To → Processed
You can repeat this setup for different stages if needed, such as:

Order Stage → Has Changed To → Shipped

Order Stage → Has Changed To → Delivered
4. Add the Action
Click +, select Action, and choose:
Send WhatsApp Message (Template)

Template: Select a pre-approved WhatsApp template that fits the stage (e.g., Order Shipped Notification).
5. Save the Automation
Give your automation a clear name, for example:
“Send WhatsApp When Order Stage Updates”
Set the automation status to Active.
Once activated, eGrow will automatically send the selected WhatsApp message each time an order’s stage is updated and matches your condition.
