The Order Status Sync from eGrow to Shopify feature allows you to automatically synchronize order statuses between both platforms.
Whenever an order status changes in eGrow (such as Fulfilled, Canceled, or Paid), the update is instantly reflected in your Shopify store — no manual action required.
This helps you:

Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that:

Your Shopify store is already connected to eGrow

You have admin access to manage apps and permissions in Shopify
Step 1: Grant Additional Permissions to the eGrow App in Shopify
To allow eGrow to update order statuses in Shopify, you must enable additional API permissions for the eGrow app.
Steps:

From your Shopify Admin Dashboard, go to:
Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps for your store -
Select eGrow App.

Navigate to Configure Admin API scopes.

Scroll down and enable (If not already enabled) the following permissions:

Click Save to apply the changes.
✅ This step allows eGrow to manage and update order statuses inside Shopify.
Step 2: Create an Automation in eGrow to Update Order Statuses
After enabling permissions, you must create an automation in eGrow to trigger the status updates.
Example: Cancel the Order in Shopify When It Is Canceled in eGrow

Go to your eGrow Dashboard.

Navigate to Automations → New Automation.

Configure the automation as follows:

Trigger:
Order updated -
Condition:
Order Stage → Has Changed to → (select the desired stage, e.g. Canceled) -
Action:
Shopify → Cancel order
✅ Enable Restock to return items to Shopify inventory

Save the automation.
Repeat the Automation for Other Order Stages
You can create similar automations for other order status updates, such as:

Shipped → Fulfilled
-
Paid in eGrow → Paid in Shopify
Simply adjust:

The order stage in the condition
-
The corresponding Shopify action

Once these steps are completed:

Any order status change in eGrow will automatically update in Shopify

Always test your automation by creating a sample order and changing its status in eGrow to confirm the update appears correctly in Shopify.
