If you manage multiple stores in eGrow, you can automate WhatsApp messages for each store separately — ensuring that orders from each store are sent using the right WhatsApp Business number.
This guide shows you how to set up store-based WhatsApp automations that send a message automatically after a new order is placed.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Go to Automation Builder
From your eGrow dashboard, navigate to:
Automation → New Automation
2. Set the Trigger
In the Trigger section, select:
Order → Order created
This ensures that the automation runs whenever a new order is placed on any of your stores.
3. Add Conditions for Each Store
Since you have multiple stores, you’ll create a separate condition for each store domain so that each one triggers its own WhatsApp number and message.
For example:
Condition 1
-
Source → Is → your first store domain (as shown in Orders > Source)
-
Action → WhatsApp Message → Send WhatsApp Message (Template)
-
Select the WhatsApp account linked to that store.
-
Choose the approved WhatsApp template for that store.
-
Map variables (e.g.,
{{1}}= contact_name,{{2}}= order_products, etc.).
-
Condition 2
-
Source → Is → your second store domain (as shown in Orders > Source)
-
Action → WhatsApp Message → Send WhatsApp Message (Template)
-
Select the WhatsApp account linked to the second store.
-
Choose its corresponding WhatsApp template.
-
Map variables accordingly.
-
👉 Repeat this setup for as many stores as you have — each store having its own condition and linked WhatsApp number.
4. Save the Automation
Give your automation a clear name such as:
“Multi-Store – Send Order Confirmation WhatsApp Messages”
Set the automation status to Active.
Once activated, eGrow will automatically send the correct WhatsApp template message based on the order’s source (store domain).
⚙️ Important Notes
-
Make sure each WhatsApp number is correctly linked to your eGrow account.
-
Only use approved WhatsApp templates for outbound messages.
-
Ensure your customers have opted in to receive WhatsApp communication.
-
You can test each condition by placing a test order from each store.
-
If a message fails to send, check:
→ WhatsApp API Message Errors and How to Fix Them.
